Dalveer Kaurs joins Widow Care to talk about her experience of losing her husband, Hargobind, when she was 35 years old. Dalveer discusses the cost of grief, from brain cancer treatments to funeral costs to therapy. Widowhood isn't just an emotionally taxing experience, it's financially taxing, too.

Leann Sherman shares her story of losing her husband to an aggressive form of blood vessel cancer. She talks about the non-linear path of her healing journey, from Widows Fog to her big move.  Eventually, her journey brought her to Widow Care.

Can you Die from a Broken Heart? -  Dr. Yuri Deychak Interview 

Dr. Deychak joins Widow Care to discuss stress cardiomyopathy, aka the Broken Heart Syndrome, which impacts many widows and widowers across the world. The question is: Can you actually die from a broken heart? Is this condition related to the Widowhood Effect? What are the symptoms?

Helping a Widowed Parent Grieve - Widow Care Talks - Author Sula Miller 

Sula Miller, author of the short novel "Welcome to... The Widows Club" joins Widow Care to discuss the inspiration behind her book & her insight into helping a widowed parent grieve, while mourning your own loss. Inspired by the author’s beloved, late mother-in-law, who became widowed after 55 years of marriage, and her many friends who opened their doors and hearts to give their true account of widowhood, Sula weaves an intriguing tale offering a rare look behind the gates of a South Florida senior community - where there's a whole new set of rules for widows.
