Widowed Checklist

Recent widows & widowers may look towards our “Widowed Checklist”, our comprehensive guide for widows and widowers, which is comprised of suggested actions to help organize post-bereavement obligations. This checklist includes suggested actions of what to do, and what not to do, following the first year after your loss. Our mentorship program offers an outlet for members to talk through their emotions, figure out how to overcome their unique challenges, and speak about their personal experiences of widowhood with a Widow Care volunteer. Are you widowed, living in the DC area and require assistance with basic household tasks? Request volunteer assistance via Widow Care's Care Driver Program-- volunteers can assist with household chores & basic tasks, like lawn care, handyman services and home organization. Online Support groups

Join our public or private Facebook groups to connect with local widowed persons.
