About The Event
Attend our free widow(er) meetup to experience DC United's second 2019 International friendly game at Audi Field on July 24th. DC United is playing against Marsaille FC of France’s Ligue 1.
We are meeting at Audi Field before the game begins at 8pm. I'd recommend getting to the stadium at 7:30pm to find your seats and possibly grab a bite to eat before the game begins.
Tickets to get into the game are free & provided by Widow Care-- the arena has food & drinks for sale.
This should be a fun event. The stadium is open-air, and taking place in the evening during the summer, so layers are probably recommended.
Email marissa@widowcare.org after RSVPing, and I will send you the details for your seats. We will meet at the assigned seats.

GETTING TO AUDI FIELD
I suggest looking at Google Maps (https://www.google.com/maps) to determine the best way to get to audi field. I've copied some detailed options below, taken from this article: https://dccommutetimes.com/news/article/getting-to-audi-field
DRIVING
~Audi Field touts 6,500 parking spots that are accessible in the immediate area. Lots are available at The Yards and Nationals Park, which is a 10-minute walk away. Rather than play a guessing game searching for lots with spaces available, consider using SpotHero to reserve a spot ahead of time. Just a little warning: the closer the lot, the more you’ll pay (up to $50 for a space about a quarter-mile away).
~Audi Field will be fully ADA compliant. United will provide a complimentary shuttle to and from the accessible parking areas.
METRO
~Fans are encouraged to use the Metrorail Green Line to get to Audi Field. The closest station is Navy Yard-Ballpark, which is about 10 minutes from the stadium. A little farther away is the Waterfront-SEU Metro Station, which is about 20 minutes from Audi Field.
BUS
Metrobus Route 74 has stops along P Street SW at 3rd and 4th Streets SW, O Street SW at 1st Street SW and Half Street SW at O Street SW. It’s about 3-5 blocks from the bus stops to Audi Field.
