About The Event
Phool Bloom: A simultaneous focus on relaxing the mind & body with enhanced creativity.
Immerse yourself in the art of fresh phool (flower) garland making and create beautiful accessories for the head, hands or neck. In the process, enjoy the colors, aroma and feel of flowers inducing a positive, cheerful and calming art experience for all!
This is not just for the women-- this workshop is for the guys, too!
Materials used: Fresh flowers (including petals, leaves & berries), sewing needles and thread.
For an additional personal touch to your garland, please feel free to bring in your own garden flowers!
We have very limited spots-- spots are first-come-first serve. This workshop is free for members.
The workshop will be lead by Stuti, a local Art Educator who currently teaches at Montgomery County schools & recreational centers. Her passion and expertise lie in designing garland accessories with fresh flowers. In the process, participants benefit from flora therapy (a combination of color & aromatherapy) helping calm the senses, enhancing the mind and stimulating creativity.
Please call Sam at (301) 917-4741 to let you into the building-- we are located inside of the Long and Foster Building.
